Follow your own instincts and question things that make you uncomfortable
Seek alternative treatments for symptoms and conditions (For example a pediatrician might say a child will grow out of colic when bodywork or herbal remedies might correct the problem)
Pay attention to your child*s body language (notice if they are constantly rubbing one spot, favoring one side, or are uncomfortable in clothing or shoes, etc.)
Imagine yourself in your child*s position (What would happen to your body if a giant dangled you by one arm in the air? What would happen to your brain if a giant snapped your head back and forth? How
easy is it to walk with both your hands above your head?)
Listen if a child tells you they have pain, even if a medical doctor cannot find a reason.
Provide unstructured play and activity time so the child may learn how to use their body, deal with boredom, and use their imagination
